Problems Viewing the Video ?

We at GlobeGig T.V do everything possible to give our viewers a smooth trouble free live video stream. However, certain aspects of end users computers can sometimes cause periodic freezing of the live video stream. If you are experiencing this, then we recommend that you check the following:

Your ISP connection speed is not dropping below 600kbps. We stream our live video between 300 & 600kbps. This is a relatively low download speed for most end broadband users, however there may be heavy congestion on your ISP which can have a potential effect on your download speed. You are using the up to date Windows Media Player. Even though our live video streams work with most previous versions, it is a good idea to keep your player up to date as there may be known faults with previous versions that have now been fixed. Download the update here.

You are not downloading anything in the background.

You are not running any programs that are using lots of memory and computing power, which can compete with your browser and cause delays. Also, anti-virus software can have a huge affect on processor usage as they tend to run unnoticed in the background.

Finally, The general health of your computer. Your internet connection speed can be greatly affected by add-on programs, the amount of memory your computer has and hard disk space. Also, be sure to check for viruses and spyware, as these will certainly cause problems.
